Barça B to play for the Catalan Super Cup - Gayo Lues

FC Barcelona communicated the decision to the Catalan Football Federation this lunchtime

FC Barcelona officially informed the Catalan Football Federation this Friday, that Barça B will take part in the Catalan Super Cup competition, set for next Tuesday, July 31^st.

Josep Maria Bartomeu, the Club Vice-President responsible for the football area explained: “we made the decision in view of the full schedule of games which our first team have to fill, together with the unavailability of the international players and especially bearing in mind what happened to Marc Muniesa we were worried about the risk of injuries. We decided to announce this well in advance, to avoid any possible disappointment for the fans”.
