Second and final training session of the day for Tito Vilanova‘s men, who congratulated David Villa for being cleared to play and Javier Mascherano for signing his contract extension with the Club

Vilanova trained with the same 21 footballers that trained this morning

Barça’s first team took to the field for the second intense training session of the day. Before the first ball was kicked, however, the team gathered in the center of the pitch to congratulate David Villa, who was given the medical all clear this morning, and Javier Mascherano, who signed a contract extension with the Club through 2016.

Tito Vilanova worked with 19 first team players plus Barça B’s Oier and Sergi Roberto.

One session on Wednesday

The team will return to the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Wednesday morning to complete a closed-door training session. After the session, Gerard Piqué will hold a press conference.
